Teanne Johnson’s journey into end-of-life work began with a simple but profound realization: our culture often avoids talking about death, leaving many people to face it unprepared, unsupported, and afraid. After experiencing the loss of loved ones and witnessing the difference that compassionate presence can make, she felt deeply called to walk with others through this sacred part of life.
As a certified death midwife—and the only one serving northwest Montana—Teanne approaches each situation with reverence, calm, and care. She believes that dying is not a medical event to be managed, but a meaningful transition that deserves intentional support, just like birth. Whether she’s helping a family plan for a peaceful passing, sitting vigil at the bedside, or guiding a beloved pet through their final moments, her work is grounded in dignity, presence, and love.
This calling is more than a career for Teanne—it’s a way of living out her deepest values. She is honored to hold space in these tender times and to help bring comfort, clarity, and connection to what can be one of life’s most profound experiences.
